Bhopal Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that due to intensive screening, 1.12 lakh TB patients have been timely identified in Madhya Pradesh. Previously, only 25 to 30 thousand patients were identified, but with extensive screening, more patients are being identified and their treatment is being started on time. He said that TB patients are fully recovering and becoming 'TB Champions' through regular medication for 6 months, nutritious diet, and assistance from Nikshay partners. With the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the goal is to build a developed and healthy India by 2047 for a TB-free India. He appealed to the youth to actively participate in the TB elimination campaign.
