Students Learn Eco-Friendly Ganesha Festival Practices
Pune district administration is promoting eco-friendly Ganesha festival celebrations. Students at a primary school were trained to make clay idols, fostering environmental awareness and commitment to sustainable practices.

Ganesha festival is a celebration of joy, and the administration of Pune district is actively working to ensure this festival brings happiness not only to people but also to the environment. As part of these efforts, students at a primary school in Lonikhal Bhore were trained to make clay Ganesha idols. The students participated in this special workshop and created very simple Ganesha idols.
The disposal of these clay idols will not pollute any water bodies. This has instilled a sense of respect for the environment among the students along with their devotion to Ganesha. All the students have also resolved to install the clay idols they made themselves in the future.
