Bhopal CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is committed to the all-round development of farmers. CM Dr. Yadav addressed the 'Balram Agriculture Mela' and district-level farmer's fair via video conference (VC) at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee premises, Dhar. He extended auspicious wishes for Sharadiya Navratri to all residents and food providers. CM Dr. Yadav said that this mega campaign organized by the agriculture department for the benefit of farmers on the holy land of Mother Chamunda and Mother Tulja Bhavani is highly commendable. He said that the state has been freed from Naxalism through the grace of the Mother and strict decisions of the administration. Praising the farmers of Dhar, he said that the food providers of the district are making several excellent innovations in the fields of advanced technologies and organic farming, making Dhar emerge as an ideal model in the agricultural sector across the state.
Addressing the program, Apex Bank Administrator Mahendra Singh Yadav said that under the 'Service Saksham Abhiyan', Devas, the 45th district of the state, is hosting a grand celebration of the Balram Agriculture Mela, carrying forward the service spirit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. MLA Gayatri Raje Pawar expressed gratitude to CM Dr. Yadav, stating that the state government has provided unprecedented support to farmers and the Devas market system.
The main objective of the farmer's fair was to promote agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, natural and organic farming, and the Shri Ann (Millet Mission). Farmers were given technical guidance by agricultural scientists on certified varieties of crops such as wheat, chickpea, lentil, and mustard that yield higher production with less water for the Rabi season.
