Madhya Pradesh's Secondary Education Board's preparations for the 2027 high school and higher secondary exams have begun. According to the information released, the class 12th exams will be held from 17 February to 19 March 2027 and the class 10th exams from 24 February to 18 March 2027. Directions have also been issued regarding the arrangement of supervisors for the smooth conduct of the exams.

Joint Director of Public Education Shri Umesh Kumar Dhurve informed that special arrangements are being made for the exam organization considering the conflict between the proposed 2027 census work and the board exams period. Under this, for the first time, the decision has been taken to deploy about 70,000 guest teachers employed in the school education department as invigilators in the board exams.

According to the issued instructions, the conduct of the board exams will be ensured without affecting the responsibilities of the staff posted in the census work. For this, the services of guest teachers will also be taken along with regular teachers, so that the availability of supervisors at the exam centers is maintained and the exams can be completed as per the scheduled program.

Regarding this, the Secondary Education Board has requested all district collectors and district education officers to submit reports based on priority by 16 October 2026. Based on the received information, the availability of supervisors and duty arrangements in the exam centers will be finalized.

This decision to deploy guest teachers for the board exams is considered an important step towards smooth exam management.
