The meeting held at the district office reviewed the progress of schemes implemented in Majuli under the Food and Civil Supplies Department, as well as the process of ration and food item distribution. At this meeting, MLA Bhuvan Gogoi, District Magistrate Ratul Chandra Pathak, and several top officials were present. Minister Roy directed the concerned officials to ensure that the benefits of the departmental schemes are actually availed by the rightful beneficiaries.
