Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the Guru Purnima Mahotsav and Sant Sammelan at the Udasi Ashram in Ranopali, Ayodhya today. Addressing the program, he said that saints have made a big contribution in promoting religion, education and culture, and they also played a big role in the Ram Temple movement. The Defense Minister said that the central government has given special attention to linking the study of Sanskrit with modern education. He emphasized the need to start teaching Vedic mathematics in all schools in the state, saying that Vedic mathematics has its own uniqueness and is also taught in foreign countries. Shri Rajnath Singh praised the working style of the Yogi government, saying that under their protection, both the administrative system and the Sanatan system are moving towards excellence. He expressed happiness after seeing the newly built building of Shri Narayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya. Before this, the Defense Minister visited Hanuman Gharhi and Shri Ram Temple for darshan and worship and took the blessings of Ram Lalla.
