08 October, Agartala: The foundation stone was laid for a 6.81 million liter per day surface water treatment plant and an overhead tank with a capacity of 680 kiloliters to further improve the drinking water supply system. At the same time, a rapid response team, truck-mounted water tankers, AI-based IVR calling, and WhatsApp grievance redressal system were launched. The new project will benefit one thousand families and make drinking water-related civic services faster.
