A meeting of BL Os and supervisors was held in Kotma and Anuppur areas under the special campaign in the district to add new and missing eligible voters to the voter list and update the voter list. In the meeting, the information on the applications received during the campaign, adding names of eligible voters, necessary amendments in names, and the process of including missing eligible voters in the voter list were reviewed. The BL Os and supervisors were instructed to reach out to eligible citizens during the campaign to inform them about registering their names in the voter list and the procedure for necessary amendments. They were also directed to examine the applications received in accordance with the rules and ensure timely action. It is noteworthy that a special campaign is being conducted in the district from 7 to 9 October 2026, as per the directions of the Election Commission of India, to add new and missing eligible voters to the voter list.
